Carlos & Kim's Wedding-Albany, GA

On Friday, we photographed the civil ceremony of Carlos and Kim at the Dougherty County courthouse. The two started dating in high school after meeting at a track event. Kim’s sport was track and Carlos’ was football. Carlos stated he picked up track for social reasons. After high school, Carlos went to college at Morehouse and played football, and Kim went to college in Mississippi and competed in track. The two remained a couple though they were separated by many miles. The love and support shown by their family and friends on their wedding day was overwhelming. We wish the two a life time of success and happiness.

On Sunday 7/27/08, we photographed the wedding of Micah and Natalie. The traditional church wedding took place in Huntsville, AL at Oakwood University Church. The ceremony was performed by Micah’s father who is a pastor. The reception was held at the Von Braun Center. And the couple departed the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. This couple is truly creative and it showed in every detail of the day. Micah and Natalie are a dynamic couple whose marriage is bound to succeed as long as they keep doing what they are doing. Rachel and Johandino-Punta Cana DR

On June 30, 2008 we photographed Rachel and Johandino’s (Nono) wedding on the beautiful Hispanola island in the city of Punta Cana. The ceremony took place in a gazebo overlooking the beach and the view was absolutely breath taking. As usual, Rachel and Nono looked great and we had a wonderful time photographing their formals. The reception was a blast with tear jerking toasts from the best men and maids of honors. It’s always a pleasure to see two families becoming one. We wish you two all the love and happiness in world. Congratulation again on your nuptials!

Mathew and Alyssa's Wedding-Huntsville, AL

The story of this couple is quite unique. The two are of Haitian descent, lived in Miami, FL all their lives but didn’t meet until college in Huntsville, AL. They both graduated from Oakwood University on the same day which happened to be the day before their wedding, and got married on Mother’s day. While most brides and grooms to be are out partying the night before their wedding, these two were at their graduation ceremony officially closing the undergraduate chapter of their lives. The wedding was held at the beautiful Annabella’s at Ceder Glenn. The ceremony was held outdoors, and the reception was indoor. We thank God that it did not rain that day as predicted in the weather forecast. The planning and decoration was done by A Perfect Touch Inc (aperfecttouchinc.com), and they did a wonderful job. Here are a few pictures from the weekend. We hope you enjoy. Go to our website to view more pictures from the graduation and wedding.

They will graduate together on a Saturday night and then have their wedding the very next day which will be on Mother’s Day. Talk about an action-pack, fun-filled, and emotional weekend! We are looking forward to documenting their wedding and be part of a weekend where they close one chapter of their lives and open a whole new one. Congrats again Mat and Alyssa.

Maternity Session

Monique is expecting her first child and wanted this precious event of her life documented. We are glad she chose Picture Perfect Events to capture her pregnancy memories. Here are a few pictures of Monique and the pre-arrival of baby Amari.

Maternity Session

Kim and Marcus are expecting their third child. They have two girls and are hoping this last baby will be a boy. Even though she was seven months pregnant at the time of this shoot, they don’t know the sex of the baby as it has not been lying in a position where they can tell its sex. They have chosen the unisex name, Peyton and will choose a middle name depending on the sex of the baby. We had a great time photographing this family. Here are a few pictures from the maternity session. To view more pictures from the maternity session go to www.ppe.photoreflect.com.

Thea & David

Thea and David were our first engagement session for the year. This couple is special to me, as I went to college with David, and Thea is a younger sibling of one of our mutual friends from college. The future newlyweds choose to have their E-session at the Olympic Centennial Park in downtown Atlanta. The park is also near the Georgia Aquarium where their first date took place. They are a fun couple and we are looking forward to their wedding in August. View more pictures from their E-session at www.ppe.photoreflect.com
